About Tai Chi
Tai Chi is based on a gentle martial arts practice combining slow, deliberate movements with focused breathing. It is ideal for improving balance, gently strengthening muscles, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being
Classes: Tuesdays 7pm-8pm

What is Tai Chi
Tai Chi emphasises smooth, continuous movements that flow from one posture to the next. These postures involve shifting weight from one leg to the other which improves stability, balance and coordination. Focused attention on breathing is integrated with the movements helping to relax both mind and body.

Tai Chi practice has been shown to reduce the risk of falls in older adults and improve symptoms of anxiety and depression by boosting a sense of wellbeing and calmness. Our sessions integrate evidence-based practices and are tailored to suit beginners and experienced practitioners, offering a meditative approach to movement.
